A Note From the Chair of the Executive Director Search Committee

As announced last year, Betsy Lantz will be retiring this July, and with that, the search for her successor is underway. This week the NEO-RLS Board has posted the position with a submission deadline of April 6, 2022. The goal is to have the new Executive Director in place by June 27, 2022, which will allow for some overlap and training with Betsy before her retirement. The successful candidate will expand and improve existing services to engage membership libraries and be the catalyst for maximizing library potential. This individual will be responsible for the vision, strategic leadership, and administrative oversight of the organization's operations following the strategic plan, Ohio laws, and supporting the overall interests of the member libraries. The Board encourages the membership to share the posting with anyone who could be considered the next Executive Director of NEO-RLS! A full description of the job position, including salary and benefits, can be found here.
