Your Library Online

A Note From the Executive Director

NEO-RLS will be going remote, officially, in December. Our staff will be busily packing and prepping for the move to remote work over the next couple of weeks.  Although this is a big change for us, we plan to maintain the high level of service that our members have come to expect. Going remote will not only strengthen our organization financially, but we view this as an opportunity to connect with our members and each other in new ways. One of my favorite parts of working for NEO-RLS is going out to libraries around the region whether that is for consulting, a CE event, or just to visit. My hope is that this move to remote work will provide our staff with the flexibility to be visible in the region more often. As a team, we will maintain collaboration with each other by meeting regularly in-person and utilizing Microsoft Teams.
While our staff will be working remotely, we will still retain a small office and storage space at Geauga County Public Library’s Administrative Center so be on the lookout for a new mailing address and phone number for NEO-RLS in the coming weeks.
Have a great day!
Ragan
