A Note From the Executive Director

I am pleased to announce that Jeff Laser will replace Ragan Snead in the position of Continuing Education Coordinator on August 1st when Ragan assumes her new role as Executive Director. Jeff brings a wealth of in-person and virtual programming experience as well as a demonstrated record of creation and implementation of innovative library services to meet evolving needs. Most recently, Jeff has been working as a Branch Services Librarian – Generalist with Cuyahoga County Public Library where he is a Coordinator for the Adult Programming Department and has played an active role in collection maintenance and merchandising. Prior to working at CCPL, Jeff served in a variety of roles at the Bexley Public Library in Bexley, Ohio. In his last role as Adult Services Librarian at BPL he launched and coordinated a Book-a-Librarian service and was the creator and host of the BPL Podcast, featuring prominent community figures, educators, and more. His background in both a single-branch library and a county-wide system has provided him with a keen understanding of the challenges libraries face and the needs of library staff. Jeff received his M.L.I.S. at Kent State University and was a 2017 Participant in the ILEAD Ohio program. Please join us in welcoming Jeff! Together we are maximizing library potential. Have a great rest of your week!
