In the past few weeks I have been busy writing the final narrative reports for the LSTA funding that we have received in support of many of our webinars.  The evaluation surveys are required by IMLS as part of the terms of the funding.  They are also critically important to us as we plan future programs.  We read every evaluation in order to implement requested changes, consider new and different topics and speakers, and refine the staff development opportunities that we offer.  The evaluation surveys are so important, both in terms of our funding and the input from members, that it can be a bit discouraging when only a handful of people are willing to take the time to complete them.  We know everyone is busy, we know that it’s just one more thing to do, but we really need to hear from you – the good and the not so good.  It’s one of the most important tools we have for change.  With this in mind, we’ve put together a ONE question, multiple choice survey to find out what would work better for you.  With your input, we hope we can make the process simpler and quicker so that it helps us all. ARPA Outreach Grants Awarded The State Library of Ohio Board has awarded $2,306,129 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Outreach Grants to 45 institutions. The purpose of the ARPA Outreach Grant initiative is to assist libraries and their communities as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as address economic and community needs resulting from the pandemic through equitable approaches.
