This year, the festival will be held as a free virtual event taking place over three days, August 28-30. Here’s a complete list of participating authors. With the festival going online, folks from anywhere in Ohio – anywhere at all, truly! – can attend and enjoy the activities without traveling. Additional information and a schedule of events will be posted to the Ohioana Library website (www.ohioana.org) and social media in coming weeks. CARES Act Funding for Ohio Libraries: Free Webinar As part of the emergency CARES Act legislation passed by the U.S. Congress earlier this spring, the State Library of Ohio has received stimulus grant funds to support libraries throughout the state to purchase equipment and supplies related to the current pandemic. To help distribute these funds, the State Library of Ohio has created the CARES Act Mini-Grant Program. The program provides $3,000 in grant funds that can be used to purchase a wide variety of materials and tools — from PPE and Plexiglass shields to signal boosters and washable keyboards/mice.
