CJ Lynce Joins NEO-RLS Board of Trustees

CJ Lynce, our newest member of the Board of Trustees, recently joined the Westlake Porter Public Library as the Assistant Director in March 2019.  Prior to joining WPPL, CJ  held positions as the TechCentral Manager for the Cleveland Public Library and Information Technology Administrator for Twinsburg Public Library.   Additionally, CJ previously worked for the Northeast Ohio Regional Library System where he gained a unique perspective on providing services, support, and collaboration with the wide variety of library systems in Northeast Ohio.

When responding to the question of why he wanted to serve on the NEO-RLS Board of Trustees, CJ responded as follows:  I desire to serve on the NEO-RLS Board of Trustees to contribute to the current and future direction of the organization and advocate for the member libraries in Northeast Ohio. Throughout my career, I have been a committed supporter of regional cooperation, and I truly believe that libraries of all types and sizes can benefit from the quality services, staff, and resources the NEO-RLS is known for. I hope to contribute my experience and expertise in helping to guide this important organization for libraries in our region.

CJ will fill one of the three At-Large Library seats along with re-elected Trustees, Laura Leonard, Director, Twinsburg Public Library, and Amy Switzer, Director, Shaker Heights Public Library.  All three will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2022.
