NEO-RLS Welcomes New Board Members

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new members of the Board of Trustees, Charles Vesei, Assistant Library Director of the Ritter Library at Baldwin Wallace University and Beth Hatch, Director of Perry Public Library.  

A Michigan native, Vesei earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts in Central Eurasian Studies from Indiana University, and a Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. He has held positions of increasing responsibility over the last 15 years at Baldwin Wallace University where he is currently the Assistant Library Director. In addition to his current library role, he has taught environmental history, leadership, introduction to the liberal arts, and first-year experience courses at Baldwin Wallace. Vesei has published numerous reviews of books dealing with Hungarian history.  His areas of interest include environmental history, Central and East European history, material culture and the history of mass movements.

Beth Hatch is the Director of the Perry Public Library.   She has ten years experience working in public libraries, and has worked in adult reference, youth services, public relations and marketing, and administration. She specializes in team building, training, virtual services and project management. She is glad to be a part of the world of libraries where we embrace technology and innovation to benefit learning, education, and entertainment in our communities. 

Charles Vesei fills the At-Large Board seat vacated by Linda Yanko upon her retirement.  His term will expire at the end of June, 2019.  Beth Hatch fills the Zone 2 Board seat vacated by Nancy Currie upon her retirement.  Beth's term will expire at the end of June, 2018.
